More Fantasy Football...

Its that time again! To announce my fantasy team's week 3 MVP. This week is a combination MVP. These 2 are considered different players as far as the team scoring goes, but in reality they are one force and that's why this week's MVP award goes to...

Cortland Finnegan & the Tennessee Titans Defense

Tennessee Titans cornerback & fellow North Carolina native Cortland Finnegan had 6 total tackles [3 solo], 2 pass def, & a 99yd interception return to score his 1st career TD. His efforts earned him 14 fantasy points & with his fellow Titans defensive line who collectively racked up 1 forced fumble, 3 sacks, 3 interceptions [one of which was Finnegan's TD return] while holding Houston to only 12 points adding 21 additional fantasy points to my team greatly contributed to our win. So congrats to him, the Titans defense, & my whole fantasy team on the win... we are 2-0-0!!!

Oh, and side note, if it were up to me I'd give Cortland 3 bonus points for being such a cutie! He makes watching the games extra easy on the eyes ;-) ...I'm just saying! [If anybody knows him, tell'em I said that!]

Fantasy Football...

Yes, I am a girl and I love fantasy football!!! Its the only way to get me into pro sports cause i'm more of a college sport fan. (GO HEELS!!!) But anyhoo... Last year I joined a league with my friends and I had sooo much fun! I think its b/c I'm real competitive in nature and competition, strategy, & luck is what FF is all about. Last year I placed 1st out of 12 teams... so yes, that means "We Are The Champions, We Are The Champions!" haha... So last year I posted a weekly team MVP for my team 'Tha Go Gettas!' via my Aol IM buddy info section & since now I am rarely on IM anymore, I decided to just use my blog to post my team's weekly MVP. [This is what happens when you have to wait up to 4 mos for the licensing board to allow you to work] ... Anyhoo, since we started week 2, there is no week 1 MVP, duh! But my week 2 MVP is....

Patrick Willis

The SF 49'ers defensive lineman had 8 solo tackles, 1 pass def, & an interception that was returned 86yds for a TD! His efforts earned him 16 fantasy points [based on my league's scoring criteria] & this weeks MVP! And he did it all in only 3 quarters!!! [He left during the 3rd quarter due to an injury & did not return to play]. So congrats go to him and the team on the win... we are 1-0-0!!!

Today, It Is Offcial!

Most people will remember this day as a tragic one. After all, it is the 7th anniversary of the awful event that happened at the World Trade Center, but for me, however, it will now be bittersweet... today I am officially a PA-C! And clearly all the honor and the praise goes to God. Cause there's no way I could have done this without HIM!

Oh, and don't think it stops here... this is ONLY THE BEGINNING!!!
